HLB Lighting

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, HLB is one of North America's largest independent architectural lighting design firms. With seven offices, brand fatigue had set in as staff were creating their templates and documents. It was time to clean it up for a new era. From a gentle clean-up of the brand to updating and standardizing Word, Powerpoint templates, and Proposal Systems. We then redesigned the website to showcase the firm's history, people, portfolio, and perspectives.

ZHUZHING UP THE BRAND

I led the brand refresh which was very subtle, but effective in improving the overall craft and execution of the identity system. We refined the logo, and optimized the color palette for print and digital executions. We also evolved their type and layout systems.
